WE THE MEMBERS of the Central Africa's Rights and AIDS (CARA) Society; TAKING NOTE of the commitment of the Management Committee to ensure the registration of Central Africa’s Rights and AIDS (CARA) Society, as a charity in England and Wales, as stated in the minutes taken on July 13th 2003, September 20th 2003 and October 2nd 2003; RECALLING the Central Africa’s Rights and Aids (CARA) Society Constitution adopted at a public meeting held on October 2nd 2003 in London; DETERMINED to ensure the respect, by all Members to the governing document, of English and Wales law; HAVE HEREBY AGREED BY VIRTUE OF ARTICLE VIII TO THE PRESENT AMENDMENTS OF THE CONSTITUTION; I. NAME I.2. The acronyms CARA SOCIETY shall be dropped and the Central Africa’s Rights and Aids Society (CARA SOCIETY) shall only be known with its full name, being, “Central Africa’s Rights and Aids Society”. II. OBJECTIVES II.4. “to provide facilities for recreation and leisure time activities for people living in the area of benefit in the interests of social welfare who are in need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants”; II.5. “the promotion of racial harmony”; III.
