For CARA Society to be a truly effective organisation it needs to plan activities over a period of 3 or more years. The voluntary sector as a whole suffers from short term injections of funding that are not sustained. CARA Society is as vulnerable to this as other charities.

Whilst CARA Society will gratefully receive any donation that your company is prepared to make we would ask you to consider donating with a 3 year period in mind. This could involve either a commitment to year-on-year donations or a single larger payment to cover a designated number of years. Such donations do not have to be large. A donation of £1000 a year for 3 years will help us to plan additional work with confidence.

You can designate areas of our work in which your donation can be spent including:

Awareness on HIV/AIDS

International/Regional Support (you can specify a region)

Free Counselling

Free Legal Advice and Services

Employment/Training (see also sponsorship)

Education

Consultancy Support

Advice Centres

Research / Policy Development (you can specify an area of interest eg Housing, Welfare Benefits, etc or a client group e.g. Disabled People, Young People, Unemployed People)

Alternatively you can allow us to use your money in the areas where we believe it is most needed.

However much you donate and whatever it is used for, rest assured your money will be well spent and will help to improve people's lives.
